Every year in North America, thousands of people lose their lives in water related accidents such as drownings, boating accidents, floods, etc. All too often, the firefighter, the law enforcement officer, the medical responder and other would be rescuers add to these statistics when they become a victim as well. Such tragedies are unnecessary. The purpose of this course is to teach the state-of-the-art techniques in swift water rescue and water survival which will help you save a victim in the water - Even when the victim is yourself!
